Hi Faithful Few,
I hope your new year has gotten off to an amazing start. It’s been so long since I wrote on the blog but I’m going to start hosting #motivationalmonday blog post because serving up inspiration is what I do best. If you didn’t know I’m actually just getting over Covid for the second time. I was down bad and was in no shape to manage work and my health last week. And it got me to thinking (almost turned into worry) about how behind I was going to be when I returned back to work in office for the first time today.
I was thinking I’d be overwhelmed and leave feeling like I didn’t accomplish much but today has been a win for me in more ways than just one.
I totally forgot that my office was hosting an interview candidate on campus so my breakfast was covered.
I also made it through morning traffic which was congested but it only had me 5 minutes late to the breakfast.
Breakfast was held at Another Broken Egg: https://anotherbrokenegg.com/
- Chicken Tenders
- Breakfast Potatoes
- Bowl of Fruit (gave away to my co-worker so it wouldn’t go to waste; my appetite is not at 100% yet)
- Apple Juice
And somehow my dinner is going to be free too thanks to the Chick-Fil-A app where I was sent a free 8-count nugget and enough points to get my fries and drink for free too.

So I don’t have anything to complain about. Today was a good day and I was quite productive in office. There’s something about surrendering the day to Jesus with worship music playing in the background at work. I knocked out so much today off of my to do list. I feel accomplished and that’s a great way for me to kick off the work week because I normally don’t work too hard on Monday’s… lol
So just maybe being behind is more mental than it is physical…
You’re right where you’re suppose to be. Moving in the direction that you’re called to move in. On track to witness all that God has in store for you this week. Accomplishing what may look impossible to some under certain deadlines/time constraints. But you’ve been graced to do it and make it look easy.
Count those blessings this week, BIG & small…
And don’t be surprised if the good being sent your way is wrapped up in a package smaller than you were expecting. What I love about trusting God is knowing that whether the package he sends is BIG or small, it’s for my good.
A few other wins:
- Booked to judge a pageant this month 02.13.23
- 6th podcast episode recorded since January 2023
- Received my title (from God) for my first e-book this weekend
- Energy back at 80% (from Covid)
- Beat Covid for a 2nd time & pray it’s my last time
- I am so loved & supported by the people in my circle
- Registrar approved substitution for a Leadership course so I can graduate in Dec.

Be inspired this week to truly let go & let God. I know it’s easier said than done but God is faithful and God is all-knowing. God sees what you can’t see. God hears what you can’t hear. So let God place you where he sees fit and where he knows that you’ll be viewed as an asset, not as competition. Be inspired to be in tune with your mind, body & soul. If either say no, then let the answer be just that.
Peace & Blessings…
Until Next Time.
